Four problems related to seats have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Both front bucket seats move about one inch upon acceleration and deceleration.
Driver and passenger seat move about 1 inch on starting and stopping. Would seem to be a safety hazard in a hard stop or collision.
Passenger seat back moves forward during braking. This poses a potential safety hazard since the seat belt is integral to the seat back.
Driver seat back is loose, 1 inch of play in it, when start and stop the seat shifts forward or backward with the movement of the vehicle.
