One problem related to front driver side air bag inflator has been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brake pedal failed to release cruise. Brakes failed altogether causing brakes to go to the floor, subsequently vehicle had to be driven off road toward traffic bringing about loss of control of vehicle causing crash into another vehicle on highway and hitting a telephone pole. Vehicle was totaled.
