Rear Seat Belt Buckle problem #1

: the contact stated while driving 35 mph, the seat belt on the passenger and center second row seats came unlatched on three occasions. The vehicle was driven to the dealer each time where the buckle assembly was replaced twice, however the problem recurred. Updated 12/1/2006 -.

Rear Seat Belt problem #2

The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban 1500. The driver side shoulder seat belt in the center row will not retract and appears to be jammed. The failure occurred 100 miles after the warranty expired. The dealer has not been notified. Nhtsa campaign id number 05v163000 (seat belts:rear) was referenced. The current mileage was 42,000 and failure mileage was 35,900.

Seat Belt problem #3

Had to replace the sensor for the air bag. This should have been covered by general motors. I know that a lot of people would not have this problem fixed due to the cost. When the service air bag light comes on it deactivates the air bags. This is a major safety issue. We have a 2000 Chevrolet tahoe in out family that has not had this problem. I feel there needs to be a recall.
