Customer has a 2007 Suburban, the steering angle sensor is faulty causing diagnostic trouble code c0455 and traction control inoperative , tested sensor directly to verify fault, the part is no longer available from gm nor aftermarket, it is my professional opinion that there should be a viable part number available from the vehicle manufacturer as this is causing a safety hazard. I’ve reached out to gm corporate and have yet to receive a response. Questions or comments please call [xxx]. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S.
