~tl takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Suburban. The contact stated that the air bag warning light intermittently illuminated while driving. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v381000 (air bags) however, the part needed for the repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called american Chevrolet ((209) 575-1606, 4742 mchenry Ave, modesto, CA 95356) where it was confirmed that the part was not available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 150,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available. Aw.

2 Warning Light On problem

Takata recall: airbag warning light remains illuminated. Crack and dash bulge on passenger side front dash. Vehicle was stationary and parked in driveway. The vehicle was bought used in 2013 from cable dahmer Buick GMC of independence, mo. Label on driver's side door states it was manufactured in texas, and it was registered in texas by previous owner.
