Two problems related to side/window air bag have been reported for the 2012 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Tl the contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Suburban. The contact stated that while standing outside of the vehicle, the side curtain air bags deployed independently without warning, while the vehicle was idle. The contact manually deflated the airbags and the vehicle was driven to mcelveen Buick GMC (117 farmington rd, summerville, SC 29483) where the contact was informed that the vehicle was not subjected to a recall. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 124,400.
