One problem related to speed control springs has been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Upon accelerating in the passing lane the accelerator stuck and did not return to idle due to a frayed cable near the accelerator pedal. The cable balled up and would not slide back into cable sleeve.
