Radio/tape Cd Player problems of the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe

Vehicle is equipped with chevy mylink infotainment system in which controls can be access via touchscreen and buttons on the center console. System ramdomly and erratically changes settings such as radio stations, bluetooth settings, language settings, media settings, navigation and screen would freeze which makes system unresponsive to control buttons when pressed. This issue was brought to local dealer's attention and was informed that the computer board needs to be replaced and since the warranty is out, then owner would have to pay for the hefty $1000 plus parts and labor cost. This issue has stated affecting vehicle several months before warranty have expired but issue has progressively worsen since. This is a safety issue especially during operation of vehicle because it causes a lot of disrtractions and operator can easily lose focus and control in an attemp to troubleshoot the issue. Also, there is no option to power off the system while in operation or when the ignition is on.

While driving 10mph or less the vehicle will not stop the brakes are very are and stuff will not allow you to stop nor while reversing! I've almost hit someone walking and someone car! I ran into our industrial fan in our garage because I couldn't stop. We almost lost our lives twice while my 7 year old daughter was in there becywe couldn't break. I've called dealerships and gm bout problems and they stated that they've had several complaints about it but it's not recall and that can not reimburse me especially if I ket a third party fix it. I'm unemployed and pay a note on this vehicle. I've had problems since I purchased it brand new! also the rear camera never work it barely work it's a very small one the dealership said they will install the regular one in that every Tahoe has because mine has a defect and it's not the touchscreen that all tables have and no parts for this one but gm wouldn't agree with it they've done everything to the back up camera and it keep going in and out and has to have updated my link radio. That's dangerous. As well as the brake cable keep slipping and causing major sqeaking when going over bumps speed bumps and etc. And the motor mounts still not fixed I've taking it several times about the major shake and vibration from it while at lights or still and they've changed them out shaved them down still no help so they were still waiting on gm to come out with a part to fix it. My warranty has expired now this all needs to be fixed and replaced I have a daughter and we are scared that something will happen. The brake issue had been going on for a year and eventually it gotten worse and couldn't stop at all. Brake pump and vacuum pump. What does it take for us to loose our lives for it to be fixed. I've had someone to fix the brake issues and it cost a lot and gm will not reimburse me please help I have proof and receipts of everything.

Took my vehicle to the dealership because the onstar light would switch between green and red, and my compass no longer works. Was told at the dealership that my high-frequency antenna was out due to outside water intrusion (ex. Rain, snow, carwashes. . . ) when you go online there are pages and pages of people with the same problem. With this problem your onstar, navigation, compass, and xm radio may have problems. My safety concern with this is the fact that people pay for onstar services and with the gm defect which was acknowledged with certain VIN numbers but not all having the same issue is that if I am in an accident or an area where cell service is not available I will not be able to receive the help I need for services I am paying for due to an issue in manufacturing. Gm issued a customer satisfaction program where they fixed this issues in vins they found to be affected; I believe they should be repairing all vehicles that are having the same exact issue. As of now, onstar cannot locate my vehicle and if I were in danger they would not able to respond to me nor my family.

Water infiltration into the driver/passenger compartments soaking the electrical system/headliner & dripping down into the interior on at least two occasions and video taped by my wife. The 2nd occurrence was 'after' the vehicle went to the dealer to be fixed for this very issue. These instances happened during rain storms, believe once while driving & once while parked in our driveway. I am unsure of the service repair dates for these instances but believe it was in April/may/June of 2016, these service records were sent to the minnesota attorney general in a claim I filed in June 2016, of which that claim is being addressed by paul mueller of the consumer services division. Previous to my filing with the atty gen I attempted negotiatins with gm, of which a gm case number was created. I purchased this vehicle new and after the water pouring in I'm very concerned with safety issues as I have had a Tahoe burn due to water infiltration, of which was determined by state farm insurance. I'm very concerned with safety, I'm very concerned with future costs to fix anything these occurrences have caused, and, these instances have greatly reduced resale value of this new vehicle. I want gm to either replace this vehicle, or, give me a lifetime warranty for this vehicle for as long as we own it.

When the radio is tuned to certain radio channels, there is a pressure that forms in the vehicle which is similar to when flying and your ears won't pop. The vehicle engine does not need to be running. The pressure is unbearable at all volumes causing terrible dizziness and unending pain from temple to temple.
