One problem related to auxillary tank has been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The consumer has had the gas tank replaced twice. Both times the tank cracked. First crack occurred at a seam, and the second crack occurred at the filler neck. He smelled gas inside his garage and saw gasoline dripping onto the floor. The service soon light comes on. The service soon light is on again, and the tank is being replaced. There was no repair on the fuel tank or removal of the fuel tank prior to these incidents.
