One problem related to engine shut off without warning has been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While traveling on the highway and without prior warning or at a stop sign, the vehicle shut down. The vehicle restarted and act as if it had no power, the engine blew and was replaced. The second engine experienced slight miss when traveling 65-70 mph. The dealer placed fuel injection cleaner in the vehicle and the problem still occurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and they couldn't duplicate the problem.
