One problem related to brake hoses, lines/piping, and fittings has been reported for the 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Rear brakes failed due to vehicle design flaw resulting in rear driver's side brake hose remaining in contact with emergency brake cable assembly. The brake hose is too short and was either designed, installed or not routed correctly. At highway speeds the loss of the rear brakes in an SUV will potentially result in a crash or a roll over, in an emergency braking situation, with loss of life.
