The inlet check valve is fractured and chevy will not do any repairs due to the mileage being over 150000.
Smelled gas and noticed puddle under vehicle when parked. Checked online and found this seems to be a common problem for this vehicle and was worried because this seems to be a safety issue. Contacted Chevrolet about it and was told to take to dealer to have inspected for any damage to vehicle. I was charged $49. 73 to be told that I had a fuel leak and to repair it I would be charged $1897. 00 even though Chevrolet has issued a service bulletin #05012 for this very issue and that it can be repaired for no charge but they would only cover for 10 yrs. Or 120,000 miles. But since I am a little over on both items they will cover nothing and want me to pay the entire amount to which I feel this is very unfair as this is a common issue with this vehicle and miles should not be an issue for a defective part and since this is a safety issue.
Smell gas from interior a/c vents and outside of vehicle on drivers side.
Significant, significant gas oder by driver's rear wheel. Can smell some gas while inside vehicle but most notable when outside of vehicle near driver's rear wheel.

2004 chevy Trailblazer ext ,gas gauge gives inaccurate reading even we car is in off position ,when car is started gauge buries itself and goes well beyond full mark driver cannot depend on accuracy leading to running out of gas on major highway or bridge.
In 2010 my Trailblazer would not idle or accelerate properly, the mechanic found the primary smog air pump not working. Cost to me $720. 00. Next the instrument cluster gauges started jumping around and now the speedometer does not work at all. Estimated cost to me $480. 00, I can't afford to fix it. . Thirdly the windshield wipers go on and off without warning. I went to a dealership and a private mechanic and neither could find the wiper problem. Cost to me $68. 00 for diagnostic time and lots of danger ahead. Similar gm vehicles/ SUV's have been recalled for the same reasons, and these vehicles all share similar parts. My daughters envoy was recalled because of the instrument cluster, replaced at no cost to her. Same instrument cluster as my Trailblazer. I candidly spoke with the owner of a chevy dealer ship who said; "these problems are costing the owners thousands of dollars and should be recalled". With all the research I've done it is clear the Trailblazer is loaded with recallable problems. Why has the Trailblazer not been recalled???.
Headlights , rear lights and brakelights bulbs have been replaced several dozen times. They burn up so need replacing. Have replaced full boards in rear lights as well, after several days all go out again and will replace again. I have brought it to the dealership in the past and they have said that certain VIN numbers with same problem have been recalled for this but mine hasn't been recalled yet. Strong smell of gas has started over the past couple months. I am assuming as stated in several other reports it is due to the fuel line having some sort of crack.
