Three problems related to instrument panel have been reported for the 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When I started my car, I went to turn the ac on and there was beeping and the emergency brake, abs/stability, and a few other instrument panel lights come on. The overhead interior light comes on as well and the air will not blow out. The only way to get this to stop is to turn the a/c off or either turn it up to the highest level (5). If it is on 5 and I try to turn it down, the beeping starts and the lights come on. Sometimes it will just happen randomly even if I don't touch the air. Once while I was on the interstate doing 75 mph, it randomly happened and my car stalled and slowed down as if it were cutting off which scared me so badly because if my car had cut off I could have been in a serious accident, or even with it slowing down the way it did. My foot was on the gas driving and the car just started slowing out of nowhere. Also, the air bag light has come on and will not go off and the air bag has never been deployed. I love my truck so much, but am considering getting rid of it if I cannot get any assistance with getting it fixed because of my concern for my family's safety as well as other drivers on the road.
Vehicle instrument panel lights come on intermittently. First the traction control light then the tire light. Lights would either come on and stay on or blink, they would eventually go off or would clear when Trailblazer started. Took to dealer while under warranty and was told that there was a patch for the electrical system and it was corrected, the next week the problem began again. Returned to the dealer and said nothing was wrong. A few months later, I took vehicle in for a routine oil change and mentioned that I was still having trouble with the lights, I was told that it was a computer problem and that it would cost 400. 00 to fix. (the auto was no longer under warranty) I asked dealer why they couldn't find anything wrong when car was under warranty but can find something now. They told me that it was a different problem. Smells fishy to me. Now my check engine light is on and I am not certain if it is the problem with the "computer chip" or there is a legitimate problem with the vehicle. I bought this vehicle with 22,000 miles on it and have had the problem since day one. Until I can afford to fix this problem, I cannot be certain if there is a real problem with the tires, traction control or engine.
I have a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS. We bought it with 13 miles on it when the first full tank of gas was gone we only put on 235 miles to the tank. That wasn't even a week. We have had 2 tires replaced because of excess wear with only 6,000 miles on it. Now we are working on the 2 other tires getting replaced because of the same thing. The windshield washer fluid would take a long time to come out. We hear a noise coming from the front right tire and at the same time we feel it in the pedals. The seals on the windows are coming off. There is no drivers side cover on the mirror on the sun shade. There is no door ajar ding or light that will come on when you open the door only just for the hatch. I have had my Trailblazer in for service 3 times in 1 year for all the same things and everytime they say there is nothing wrong with it except for the tires. With the gas mileage my dealership said I have to wait 10,000 miles before I get a better average on the miles per gallon. Well it is actually I am getting less and less miles per gallon than I did a year ago. The Trailblazer is very slow at picking up speed. It hesitates at the start of pick up speed like the truck just stalled. I feel it in the pedal. The brakes have problems when it comes to stopping its like the brakes don't want to stop the truck. These problems are making me very upset. I have complained to 2 dealerships and both times they say OH there is nothing wrong with the truck. I need these problems fixed. So I will take any advice you can give on what I can do.
