Tire Blowout Problems of Chevrolet Trailblazer

Tire blew out at 70 mph on freeway causing me to almost crash into guard rail. I had to pull off exit in unfamiliar city in a bad area and call emergency roadside assistance. Every tire has leaked air since purchasing and has had to be resealed and sidewalls all looked like they are cracking apart. I have contacted cooper several times to get no solution and a shitty response. They are still under warranty. This has been an ongoing matter for 2 and half years now! the store were purchased said I had to contact cooper not them. Every tire in this line has been recalled except this size! now I get to spend another $1000 on new tires when these aren't even out of warranty but cooper won't do anything even tho my mechanic says they are faulty.

The contact owns a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer equipped with firestone destination le tires, size 245/70/r16. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 to 40 mph, the vehicle started to drive funny which caused him to crash into a guard rail. On may 25,2012, my wife was traveling down highway at 75 mph and right front tire blew out - tire sidewall damage resulted after rolling to stop on flat tire. Evident that tread cleanly separated from tire body in one location. Tire had approximately 38,000 miles on it at time of occurrence. Just been rotated and inspected on may 2, 2012. Luckily no accident occurred.

May 30, 2007-left front tire went flat, hole on inner side right below tread-could not be fixed-bought new tire June 16, 2007-right front tire blew out on highway and shredded apart, heavy smoke-bought new tire July 5, 2007-right front tire-hole blow tread on inside--cannot be fixed.

My continental tires are worn after only 3 years without excessive wear or extreme conditions. I drive a 2005 chevy Trailblazer. I will have to replace all of them soon to keep my family and myself safe. I have a friend with the same continental tires on the same vehicle. She has had to replace her tires and I think her vehicle is a 2006 chevy Trailblazer. A few weeks ago, one tire simply shredded to pieces as she drove along on the expressway. I noticed there was an accident in orlando, FL with a GMC envoy in which a blown tire was reported as the reason for the accident in which the vehicle flipped and trapped a teenager inside. I am really concerned about these tires and would like for someone to take a serious look at the quality before more lives are endangered. I don't know what type tires are on the GMC but since they are similar vehicles, I assume the tires are probably similar.

I lease a new vehicle, trailer blazer on Dec 31st 2005, from grand prize Chevrolet on sw117 av and 152 st. At the end of June 2006 I had a blew up tire on I 75 going north, reaching tampa. It exploded on a side and because the way it looked I suspect it was defective tire. I call the seller at the dealer and explained to him. He told me to bring the tire to be inspected.
