1 Tire Sidewall problem of the 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Failure Date: 04/04/2023

225/60 r 17 99 h - this tire should be on the recall list. While driving to work (50 mph), the right passenger tire lost air pressure quickly, resulting in a flat. Tire air pressure indicator on the instrument panel making me aware. The sidewall rupture is the reason for the other tires being recalled by continental. Inspection of my other tires showed the left front had the same sidewall line but had not yet ruptured. Our safety would have been at risk had we been traveling at a much higher rate of speed on a populated highway. We contacted the dealer, who informed us the tire was part of the continental recall. We then contacted continental direct, they advised it was not. My vehicle was purchased new on November 1, 2022 with 100 miles. It's now 5 months old with less than 5,000 miles. The dealer advised they would replace the tire that ruptured at my cost. To ensure the safety of my family and myself, we purchased 4 new tires from a reputable tire dealer we do business with. They inspected all 4 tires.

2 Tire Sidewall problem of the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Failure Date: 10/28/2021

225/60r17 99h bought Trailblazer brand new from dealer March 2021. I've owned many cars, street cars, etc. I've never had a tire with 10k miles develop a bulge in the side. I took back to dealer as warranty book showed covered to 12k, but they said 'upon inspecting, it appears from a pothole'. That was strange to me, as we never hit anything or the rim does not have a mark or bent or anything.

14 Tire Sidewall problem of the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Failure Date: 10/07/2003

I have 4 (245-70-16) bf goodrich open trail t/a tires that came original on my new 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS 4wd. I have 20,649 miles on my vehicle. I have 5/32 tread left, I have belts broken in the sidewall, cracks in between the tread. Although 5/32 tread is "acceptable" according to b f goodrich I have recently experienced sliding in wet conditions as opposed to when I first bought the vehicle and the tread depth was more abundant. According to b f goodrich, these tires are not subject to replacement under the terms of their warranty. It's against my better judgment to keep driving on these tires, but if I listen to them and accept their position that these tires are safe, I will be risking the lives of myself, my wife, and my passengers. I hope this organization will investigate this tire and I will be more than happy to have them pulled from my vehicle and shipped to you for examination.
