Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2014 Chevrolet Traverse

Tl- the contact was calling on behalf of the owner of a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that while the driver was reversing from a parking space, the vehicle unintended accelerated crashing into a parked vehicle. The brake pedal was depressed but failed to stop the vehicle. The vehicle accelerated forward and then reversed into oncoming traffic where it crashed into a vehicle that was driving at an unknown speed. The vehicle then crashed into a pole which fell onto a parked vehicle. It was unknown if any warning lights illuminated. The air bags failed to deploy. There were four children in the vehicle at the time of the failure. An eleven-year-old was seated at the front passenger side and two eight month old's rear facing in the rear of the vehicle along with an thirteen-year-old. All three rear passengers seat belts unlatched. The two infants sustained head injuries and the thirteen-year-old sustained a left knee, right thigh, and forehead injuries. The front passenger sustained unknown injuries as well. The driver did not sustain any injuries. The front passenger and the three rear passengers received medical attention. There were two individuals in the parked vehicle that the pole fell on top which sustained concussion injuries.
