Structure problem #1

The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated while driving 65 mph, the vehicle shut off while on the interstate, with the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the driver’s side door became inoperable, with the plastic frame hanging off the door of the vehicle. The vehicle was restarted on the third attempt; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was driven to the dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the catalytic convertor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 3,900.

Hatchback/liftgate Hinge problem #2

The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that while attempting to open the hatch, the hatch opened and then unintendedly lowered within seconds. The contact stated that her husband had sustained a minor injury to the head while placing groceries in the vehicle when the hatch closed. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the rear hatch motor was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 12,000.

Body problem #3

3rd row headrest will not go down when straps are pulled to put the seat down. This prevents the 3rd row from being able to be put down. Summit white paint chipping/peeling within 2 weeks of ownership. Normal driving, no gravel. Under 1,000 miles.
