While driving on the parkway with my 2 young children the power went into reduce engine mode and the error message stability trek and traction control kept blinking this has happened on 4 occasions now I feel unsafe driving my children. I have gotten it looked at now the 4th time it has cost me over 2 grand so far now my mechanic saying it's my fuel pump and fuel sensor this is costing me another grand. If I could afford another vehicle I would trade this truck in. Very unhappy and scared while driving my 2012 chevy Traverse ltz.

Takata recall - I took my car into the dealership because my airbag warning sensors lit up on my dashboard. The dealership told me the entire passenger seat needed to be replaced at about $1100, and it was my responsibility as there was no recall on it. The vehicle is only 1. 5 years old and has never had any accidents/airbag issues.
Takata recall. My airbag sensor will come on and stay on for a few days. Then after a few days it will only come on once in a while and a few days after that it won't come on all. It does not matter if I am driving or stopped on on any surface at any speed.
Air bag warning for front passenger seat comes on sometimes, and may go away when a passenger sits, or adjusts the seat, however, it does not always go off when the passenger tries to adjust his position, or the position of the seat. It happens sometimes when in motion, or sitting still, with or without someone in the passenger seat. Driveway, city street, highway, expressway, makes no difference. Who knows, may be a loose wire, pressure sensor, or something else unknown. Dealer wants $105. 00 just to check it out. Other gm vehicles ever have an air bag problem with passenger seat air bag subject to recall?.

My vehicle whether stationary or in motion routinely does not chime for a passanger or driver without a seatbelt. The light does come on but it will only chime 10% of the time. I am not having issues with it chiming when there is not a person is in the seat. I am concerned this is a life safety issue with my vehicle since if I am driving and my passanger takes off there seatbelt it does not alert me with sounds. It also does not alert me woth sound if I myself forget to apply my seatbelt. I have called and spoken to the dealership and taken my vehicle in multiple times. One of the service people have heard this issue occur where it would chime sometimes when he did not have his seatbelt on and other times it would not. I am concerned that the airbags may not function correctly if the seatbelt and weight sensor for the passanger and driver are not functioning properly. I have been advised that it is not an issue per the dealership and to me it is as I have never had a car not chime notifying you that the seatbelts are not fasened. The dealership did take the same type of vehicle off there lot to test in a different car and that vehicle never chimed for the lack of a fastened seatbelt. I first noticed this when my vehicle was at 500 miles and it is now over 5000 and still not resolved.
My car only has 40k miles on it and my air bag sensor is illuminated on the dash panel and came on while driving. I was told it is a bad sensor. After reading several reviews on line of other people with low miles having the same issues, I feel this should be a recall, not a pay $1200 out of pocket to have it fixed!.
My air bag sensor or the notification for servicing my air bag has began to go off and on in the last week. It stays on more each day.
Service air bag message in display, codes u0170 lost communication with restraints system sensor a and b0081 passenger presence system erratic. This vehicle ran out of manufacture warranty 2-28-15. I diagnosed and repaired because of the car being out of warranty and the dealership wanting 140 some dollars just to get started. Safety recall campaign #14030 had been done on this vehicle by a Chevrolet dealer on 8-22-14. The front seats have to be loosened and raised up to perform the campaign. When this campaign was performed the locking tab for the wiring connector under the rf seat had been broken off and not secured in some way or replaced. This broken lock allowed the connector housings to slip apart gradually over time causing the wire terminal dis-connection un-safe condition I drove around with for about 9 months and 5000 miles. The dealership is not willing to work with me as far as re-imbursement for the mistake they made and Chevrolet customer assistance center is not willing to help either. I will think twice before I ever take any of my vehicles in for a safety recall campaign. I feel my car was safer before the safety recall was performed!.

Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact indicated that the fuel gage failed to work and indicated less fuel when the fuel was full. The contact also mentioned that the air bag sensor and various gages intermittently illuminated. The vehicle also stalled several times and the contact was able to restart the vehicle. The contact was included in NHTSA campaign id number: 14v614000 (electrical system) and was waiting for the dealer to schedule an appointment to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired yet. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was less than 100. Dyd.
My "service air bag" light came on. I went immediately to the dealer and had them check it out. I was told it was a faulty sensor burried deep within the passenger seat. The cost of repair is $700. None of the passenger restraints/air bags will operate I'm told as it does not show a passenger is present in the seat. I have done nothing to create this problem. . . It's gm's faulty sensor. My children are no longer safe in the front seat. . . Ridiculous. I've asked gm to repair and they won't.
