While driving on vacation service air bag light came on and off. Later on it came back on and has stayed on. Ran dianogstics and no codes available. Service air bag light still comes on at every start up. Is the vehicle safe to drive, will the air bag deploy when needed or not needed???.

I had my air bags repaired in October 2019. Six months later the service air bag light came back on. I then called denooyer Chevrolet where I got the work done at. And they said I had to pay for it again. I did not bring it in because this was something I already payed for previously. I called Chevrolet customer service explained the same situation to them. They acted if they was gonna take care of the repair. But they did not and told me there was nothing they can do. This happened more then once and not just in my 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. My warranty do not cover it because it's a safety issue. I need help it's a safety issue and I am risking mine and my kids lives everyday.

Service air bag light randomly comes on and most of the time stays on even though the air bags are fine.

The airbag light came on. I took it to get diagnosed and it is the passenger side air bag that needs fixed. I called gm and because the car is 6 years old, it is out of warranty to be fixed. I should not have to fix a safety issue with the vehicle that is not wear and tear.

Airbag light on dash is mainly on. . . . 95%+ of the time. . . . No information on code reader, to tell why or which airbag is making light come on. . . . And I don't know if this means that all wouldn't work or just one or???.

The air bag light turns on and off for the past 3 days. I have taken it too the dealer in my hometown and the tech there said that this is a common issue for this model and chevy knows that its a easy and profitable one to repair. Someone please look in to this its not cool to have something like an airbag say it need service just to have them say that. The fix cost me 145. 59 and it took them around 8 or 10 mins to repair it. Odd don't you think.

The airbag connector piece under the passenger seat comes apart triggering. Airbag light on. Dealer charges over $100 for a problem that keeps happening. This issue is also listed on every forum so t's a common issue. Wiper fluid doesn't extract clogged nozzles.

This is the 3rd time in the last 2 years that the airbag indicator has come on. Vehicle just passed 60k miles. This time the error code I was given b0022. All of these problems appear to be due to issues with the connectors underneath the front driver and passenger seats. I will now be bringing the vehicle to be returned for the 3rd airbag problem. It would be helpful if gm would address this.

I have not been in any form of accident and there has been no damage to my vehicle, yet this morning, I started my car and immediately, the �service airbag system� warning was displayed and my airbag light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the timing chain and crankshaft failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure recurred multiple times. None seat belts snap closed takes numerous insertions to get selt belt to safely shut. Air bag light keeps come on. Car is a 2017 shouldnt be having problmes already.

Possible tamara recall on August 5th, 2019, after only owning my 2014 Traverse for a month, my service air bag light came on. Bought car from Ford dealership in April and all the sudden the check airbag light started coming on while driving.

Made an appt. With a Chevrolet dealership with a service airbag red light on the dash board on 6/28/2019. Appointment was confirmed and once there, I was told to return the vehicle on another day, no appt. Available. To my surprise, the dealership advised me to continue to drive my car. I did return on 7/2/2019 diag. $158. 80 and to fix an additional $400. 00. This is a known problem with the airbag connector. I should know, not long after I purchased my car I went to get service for a seat belt recall and the car was returned with a service airbag light. I was told they could not let me drive the car because it's a liability. I guess because the car is no longer under their warranty, it doesn't matter. The error code was b0014: driver seat side airbag deployment loop resistance above threshold. To my understanding there is an extended warranty under the safety bulletin n192219480 which covers this malfunction up to 12 years or 180,000 miles. If this is true please advise.

The srs light indicator on dash board continues to come on/off while driving the vehicle. Sometimes the srs light stays on for a while and then turns off.

Stabilitrak is not working properly along with traction control. Seems to be electrical problem as many of the windows, along with other electrical lights are not working properly. When driving the car loses power. There is a grinding noise and the traction control service indicator light and stabilitrak comes on, along with the service engine light. When there is loss of power the car will not accelerate for a few second, which is very dangerous in traffic.

The air bag light comes on when the drivers seat is moved back and forth. To get the light to go back off I have to wiggle the wiring harness and connector under the drivers seat.

Out of no where my air bag lights came on. The sensor in the passenger seat isnt detecting weight and stays off all the time now, also my service airbag light is on for the driver as well. I am also having power steering issues as well. My power steering fluid is full, no leaks but the steering is hard to turn. Had the steering pump checked and was told nothing was wrong with it. My last issue is with the speakers they cut in and cut out all the time and nine times out of ten I only have my tweeters for sound. Very disappointed with chevy right now.
