Tire gage says rear tire pressure low when it means the front. When air is added the next day it says tire pressure low again. Power lift gate falling. These things happen while stationary and in motion.

Passenger side window exploded. We were driving on an open rural highway with no vehicles near us in the afternoon. The weather was about 75 degrees and sunny. All windows were up and the a/c was on. We heard an explosion which sounded like a tire blowing out and the passenger side front door window had blown out. When we pulled to the side of the road, you could see that the remaining parts of the window were angled outward slightly as if there had been pressure from inside the SUV pushing it out. Fortunately, very little glass came into the car as it was all blown outward. We were driving the speed limit on cruise control (70mph). As there were no nearby vehicles or people on the side of the road, road debris was not the cause of this. Also, a close review of the vehicle show no marks from any external debris.

2012 Chevrolet Traverse, mileage 57,993. While driving during a snow storm I went to turn the front wipers on. The wipers activated, but immediately stopped half way up the window. The front wipers became totally inoperable at this time and now no longer function. Took the vehicle to its place of purchase and mechanic stated both the front wiper motor and transmission needed replacement. I tried to reference the windshield wiper arm nuts recall dated April 9, 2012: NHTSA campaign number: 12v151000, gm safety recall campaign number 12036, but neither the dealership nor gm¿s customer relations center acknowledge that this recall applied to my 2012 Chevrolet Traverse. This recall sounds like the exact problem that led to the failure of my wiper system.
The windshield wipers are inconsistent at turning on when not in the off position. If they turned on, they would stay on until the vehicle was turned off. The only way to ensure the windshield wipers came on (and stayed on) at any requested wiper speed was to have your high beams on. If you turned your high beams on, the dashboard light would come on. If you turned your wipers on, the high beam dashboard light would go out (yet the high beams would still remain on).

Just like other complaints I have read on this car year and model, the air conditioner on the front seat passenger side blew hot air out when air was on, then it blew hot air out both before it broke completely. I agree with other customers, that this should not happen in a 4 year old car. They want 1500 to fix. Also, the two pumps went out that pump out the washer fluid, they said it was an electrical issue, this is a four year old vehicle, it should not be having so many electrical issues happening. They want another $500 to fix it. Both this are hudge concerns given it is a 4 year old car and there are many similar complaints. It is definitely a safety concern.

I went to turn on my windsheild wipers because it was raining and the only speed that would work was the fastest speed. Nothing else works except when you turn them on all the way.
The outside mirrors reset erratically after unlocking with key fob. I have had it to the dealer at least 5 times. I have replaced the mirror twice once at my expense and once by dealer. The dealer has programmed the key fob. Every one of these was supposed to fix the the issue but none did. When backing in the dark this is a great safety issue because you never know where your mirrors are really looking.

After purchasing the vehicle we noticed that the mirror was developing a dark film which kept getting worse. It is now very difficult to see out of the mirror. It has gotten so bad that it is now a safety issue. We are now afraid to drive it because of the possibility of an accident and so it is now parked in the garage and not being driven.
