Three problems related to brake disc have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Venture. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brake pads completely worn at 25,000 miles , problem of the brake squelling reported at 15,000 mile , dealer replace back shoes and drum and said front brakes perfect even though squelling excessively.
When appyling the brakes a very loud noise occurred in front end of vehicle. Dealer cannot indentify the problem.
Front disc brakes have pitted in the inner surface, causing a pulsation. There are pitted so deep that they cannot be cleaned.
