2 Front Suspension Hub problem of the 2002 Chevrolet Venture

Failure Date: 04/01/2004

Venture, Chevrolet, 2002, all wheel drive,front wheel hub and bearing assembly failure. Both front hub/bearing assemblies failed prior to 6,474 miles. Replacement hub/bearing assemblies front right failed at 26,290 miles and left front failed at 30,200 miles. Dealer comments that they are replacing these things like crazy and they aren't holding up. Failure results in abs failure, awd lockout, pulling steering to right or left at highway speeds. Vibration and burning smell.

3 Front Suspension Hub problem of the 2003 Chevrolet Venture

Failure Date: 03/25/2004

While driving at 55 mph the steering became too relaxed. The consumer was compensating with steering, trying to keep the vehicle from drifting to the left. The independent mechanic examined the vehicle and replaced the left hub assembly. Now the right hub assembly needs replacement.
