Chevrolet Venture owners have reported 8 problems related to suspension (under the suspension category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Chevrolet Venture based on all problems reported for the Venture.
The metal underside support bracket that holds up both the engine coolant radiator and a/c radiator had rusted completly to the extent that the left (driver) side of the bracket completely failed and allowed the radiators to tilt down and drop approx. 4" on the left side. The primary support is now ony the coollant hoses. Had I not noticed, while viewing the car from the front that there was a problem; both the radiators could have fallen off while driving, they certainly could have wedged to impede the steering control and /or run over by the tires to most certainly be a safety issue to us or others on the road. My call to a dealership stated they are well aware of this particular rust issue and they have no knowledge of recall by gm. There should be a recall to repair a corrosion issue of this support component that is a safety integrity issue. Djk.

Suspension--both tie rods in the front of the vehicle have had to be replaced--mechanic said that both times it was near catastrophic failure. Other--air conditioner condenser cracked due to design failure. 2002 service bulletin told that gm was aware of the problem but kept quiet until the warranty period was over, and then refused to help. Brakes--front brake pads have been replaced four (4) times, rotors have been replaced twice. The vehicle has 83,000 original miles. I am the original owner.
