While making a left turn at 5-10 mph, the lower control arm suspension broke folding sideways and causing the car to be puller left into a parked car waiting to make a turn. Fortunately it broke at a very low rate of speed. The car had just exited a 60 mph highway. The body shop stated that Chrysler must have known about the weakness since the replacement part it significantly heavier built (see photo).
Driving my 2015 Chrysler 200s and I'm hearing squeaky noise whenever I go over a bump in the road. Took my car to the shop and was told that I need a lot of front end work done, and that my lower control arms were bad as well as my struts. To add more insult there are no struts on the market for this car. This car is only 3 years old. . . . . .
Vechile showed no warning of over heating remind u this is almost the luxury model 200s. . Also emission always comes up with check engine even when I change gas. . Also fuel cap isn't always a tight fit even threw mopar pops up as cap loose! have a terrible suspension problem being a sports model with 19inch stock rims very pour design on lower control arm bushings and struts!.
Both front lower control arm mounts are split causing the lower control arm to come loose.
This car was rented to me by enterprise leasing company in the chicagoland area. As I was in the process of making a left turn (west bound) onto a residential street, I had the passenger side front tire break away from the chassis causing me to lose control of the vehicle and hit two parked car. After the collision, I inspected the car and found the passenger-side front tire broken off and positioned 90 degrees (perpendicular) to the car in the wheel well. The hubcap side of the tire was facing backward, relative to the car, broken off from the lower control arm with the frame of the vehicle resting on the street.
