Suspension Noise Problems of Chrysler 200

While driving on expressway from michigan to nebraska car was making loud noises from suspension/tire area and took car into repair shop for inspection before driving any further. Was told that car had 4 blown out struts and front right wheel bearing. They said this was unusual since the car only had around 47,000 miles on it and a newer vehicle for such extensive damage and told must repair as car was unsafe to drive and could cause an accident. Repair was $2,000 for parts that should not have been bad on a car under 50,000 miles. Searching vehicle online and saw that Chrysler had recalled 700,000 of the same make/model in 2015 for faulty/defective struts and front wheel bearing. I checked my VIN and there were no recalls listed. I find it strange that 700,000 vehicles were recalled for the very same issue we had with our car for the same make, model and year. I called Chrysler and they only said my VIN did not have any recalls and I could report it on this website. This is not right that our vehicle was not included in the recall as this could have resulted in an accident and also should not be our fault to replace on a newer vehicle if the parts were known to be bad. I have also seen other recalls listed for same year/make/model with transmission which once again our vehicle has symptoms yet not included in this recall either. This vehicle has a shudder and a jerking motion at approximately the 28 to 35 mph range. Also switching the gears from neutral to drive or reverse will freeze. Have to shut the vehicle off and try again. As far as the suspension, the left rear has made a sound almost from the beginning when vehicle was purchased. It makes a clunking sound if going over a bump, or hit a deviation in the road. Was told for the longest time couldn't find anything. Now all of a sudden 1 shock is bad.

Tl the contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. While driving 15 mph, a noise emerged from the rear tires that grew louder. The contact drove the vehicle to an unknown tire shop and had the rear tires replaced. The contact stated that the vehicle had been experiencing the noise ever since November of 2017. The vehicle was taken to hollywood Chrysler/Jeep in hollywood, florida on December 16, 2017. The dealer did not find any failures with the vehicle. The independent tire mechanic suggested that that the noise may be related to the suspension. The contact researched online and found a recall issued by the manufacturer for the suspension, which caused the tires to wear out unevenly. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 15,000.

After driving for about 15 min. You can start hearing a clunking noise coming from the left side, and you can feel it in the steering wheel. Don't know if its steering or suspension, but I get eerie feeling the car may lock up.

2011 Chrysler 200. Consumer states vehicle makes rattling noise and tires will not stay correctly inflated while driving the consumer stated the vehicle wobbled and bounced side-to-side while driving down the highway in areas where there were rough ridges in the road. The consumer was informed the vehicle was designed that way, as the vehicle had a heavy duty sport suspension. Also, the sunroof leaked on the driver's side.
