The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated while driving 10-15 mph and making a left turn on a bridge, there was an abnormally loud sound coming from the vehicle, and the vehicle slid to the side of the road next to the curb. The contact stated that the front end of the vehicle had collapsed onto the front tires. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot. The vehicle was later towed to the residence and was then towed to an independent mechanic. The mechanic replaced the front suspension. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated while accelerating from a complete stop, the vehicle made an abnormal cackling sound and was very sluggish. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled in the middle of the road. The vehicle was able to restart after several attempts. The contact pulled over to the side of the road. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The air bag warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to auto zone, where unknown diagnostic trouble codes were retrieved. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was unreachable. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was filed. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA hotline for further assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.
Airbag light is on , 2nd time my lower control arms are broken and I go through a battery every 2 years average.
I believe the brake or something related to the brakes failed. I ran a stop sign, with no evidence of brake marks on the road. I crossed over a highway hit a side walk almost hit a house. The safety of myself and others was at extreme danger. When finally came to a stop I couldn't put my car in park, or back in drive or shut my car off, I beleive I had no braking or something electrical failed. My car is totaled. The only light on was the airbag light before the accident.

On 08/22/2023, I took my vehicle into an auto service repair center to have diagnostics done due to a creeking sound. I was worried something could be wrong, and should any issues not be addressed or resolved, I could do more damage by continuing to drive my vehicle. Unfortunately I was advised that the sound was due to a rear suspension knuckle issue, a part that can't just be repaired based on how it was engineered and that the whole thing would need to be replaced. Due to the diagnosis I received, I knew it was imperative for me to see if there were any open recalls and review any notations from other Chrysler vehicle owners on said issue. I was able to locate, within just a few moments, that there are several manufacturers that have open recalls due to rear suspension knuckle and bushing problems. I contacted Chrysler customer service via email on 08/22/2023, regarding the rear suspension problems, especially since this seems to be a very common issue as noted on several online forums, from Chrysler owners all over the country. Some owners have different Chrysler models, however many happen to be the 200, all of which, are experiencing the same issue. I received a timely response to my email from Chrysler customer service to which I appreciate. The email stated: "we are aware of this and are doing the best we can to resolve this. " can you please advise further on said response? with Chrysler being aware of this issue, what is currently being done? what can Chrysler owners expect as far as a resolution and when should we expect a resolution or statement on this issue from Chrysler?.
As I’m approaching a steeper hill I go from 25 to 20mph as I try to turn the corner of the hill I feel the speed of the vehicle picking up as I’m trying to slow down without slamming on the brakes the vehicle takes off hits the curb then a utility pole before coming to a complete stop.
Cv axle are wore out I couldn't drive turning an shocks wore out faster please help.

Upon taking my Chrysler 2015 200 limited 2. 4l in-line into bay area Chrysler dealership to figure out why my car wasnt running correctly they it on their diagnostic they said it needed a body control module which the dealership put a new one charged me 199. 20 to put it in plus the $376. 35 for the module that was ordered which I paid . When I picked up my car it was parked with the ignition on and walked off with the key fob. After paying for another 200 $ for a new key fob I was told the new part didnt work. So now the center stack which controls the radio the heater /air conditioner controls screen off on selecter knob and parking brake do not work so im wondering if the electrical recall or failure of the dealership to do their job.
For weeks now ive been noticing a weird grinding or dry rubbing sound underneath the front end of my Chrysler. Checked it out a few times, as though I am not a mechanic I can identify the basics of something not right. However, after my husband and his brother both looking it over on seperate occasions, they have noted a leak under the carriage of the car. Often here recently, the guage senses an over heating of some sort. Since this notice, we have replaced the oil cooler twice in a year; as well as flushed the hoses associated with the coolant reservoir. Fixed temporary but has now already started getting too hot. Which simply tells me that its something further internal thats wrong. I was informed of an engine recall: l33 of my Chrysler model. However havent seen one on this website. When driving yesterday, I noticed a light on my cluster that indicated the traction has failed. When I brake, all u hear or feel is a vibration under your feet, up front. I replaced my brake pads all 4, within the past 4 months and theyre now rusted over and u notice a brake fluid leak on the front right side. After a light, the grinding noise, the vibration and the overheating; I am positive that this will eventually cause a car stall or worse a fatal accident. My brakes could eventually fail while driving in traffic, causing a crash. Or my car could just all out stalland the cluster can trip and I could be in harms way if at the time it does this I could be goin 70 on the interstate or in a turninglane in town and without proper fix; it could easily cause a fatal accident and I could be killed or worse my children!.

Transmission not properly shifting into gears. Car suspension is always slamming. Air bag error code.
Have had car less than a year. Air bag lights constantly come on and I have to get it repaired - light is on while driving and while stopped. Light came in the day I got the car as I was leaving the lot and they refused to do anything for it. Also the car keeps stalling. Had the battery replaced and alternator checked, which is running almost like brand new. The car still stalls while driving it with no warning signs at all. No lights are on it will just happen, again, with no warnings. Everything gets locked up and I can't even put the car in neural to back it out from the middle of the street. The car can barely handle highway speed limit of 70, the bumps or groves in the road almost feel like it's pushing the car and it will spin out (this is in dry warm weather). I've checked the tires they are fine. The entire suspension is bad and needs replaced. The charging systems for your phones don't always work, it's off and on. The chargers work just fine in the house so it's not the cords itself. Was shown the carfax before buying and there are no accident reports.
Car oil filter leaking oil cause fire.
Blower motor resistor fails causing heat to stop working causing check engine light. The car was making a raddling sound than the heat shut off the car was stopped.
Fuel pressure sensor.
Rear pass side shock bolt on the bottom going into axle keeps coming out.
There was a recall on the rear shock suspension, but my vehicle was not included and now I have the exact same problem. Rear shocks leaking and needing replacement. Found at car dealership doing routine maintenance.
Air bag light and check engine light is on also a electrical light comes on it looks like it's saying the engine it to hot but I am not sure exactly it comes on almost right after starting car.
First it was my transmission skipping, than my car keep skipping grasp, now it's lock in neutral my back tires will not move.
The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, a rattling and screaking noise was present coming from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the front passenger’s and driver’s side struts had fractured and needed to be replaced. The struts were replaced and the failure was remedied. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
I got a 2013 Chrysler 200 from mega auto outlet in stafford,va. 3-30-20 and tried to take it back to mega auto outlet. I called the dealership the next day about why there wasn't a inspection sticker on the windshield and why was there some much noise from the rear. The salesman then told me that there was a inspection sticker on the windshield and told him there wasn't and I was going to bring the car back because it was illegal to sell a car without a inspection sticker. But he refused to take the car back and said to me if I was to bring the car back that the police would there and not to to bring car back. I took to local garage to find out what was wrong with the car because it was making noises in the rear of car and the airbag light was on. I found tout that there was all kinds of problems with the 2013 Chrysler 200 and it was unsafe to drive. I don't know what else to do?.
Throttle body goes bad every 3 months and goes into limp mode.
I've had multiple issues. First, my car stalled as I was driving down main streets, the first time I took it to the dealership, they said they couldn't find a problem with it. Second dealership I took it to said it was an electrical issue my car was having, kept it for a week, repaired the issue. Second time I took it in was because my airbag alert illuminated on the dash, again, they said it was a wiring issue, someone had kicked the wiring loose under the passenger seat. Then I had it towed in because it completely stopped on me while I was driving it . Now it's in the shop because the malfunction came on, I still attempted to drive it to work, but when I went back out for lunch, it wouldn't start. Roadside jumpstarted it, and it started. Went back out when I got off work and it wouldn't start. . . However, while I was getting out, the dash lit up as and kept beeping as if the car was running, so I actually had to push the start button to turn it off , weird, right! but then as I'm walking away from the car, it's trying to accelerate on its own, as if I was trying to remote start it. Had it towed to dealership. They're diagnostic explanation for my car - my climate control module doesn't work, and I need a new battery, and yes my door panel had some faulty wires and they're waiting for the parts to repair this, but it's something I have to pay for. When I turn my car to the left, it sounds like something is going to break. My tires slide when it's raining, even though I purchased new ones. Also, my climate control has been beyond functioning. I drive 17 miles to and from work, and I have to turn it down because it's freezing sometimes. It's sad to know I purchased a lemon and that they cannot be honest about their recalls and making sure my safety comes before their negligence. , and stop trying to coverup their screwups in manufacturing a total lemon.
Car started making an awful clanking noise when turning. Had three (3) different places look at it and they all said it was the transmission. Took it to spitzer Chrysler in brook park, OH who said it was everything but the transmission. They wanted to charge me more than the car is worth. Had it towed to a different Chrysler dealer as it's undrivable and leaked all it's transmission fluid out.
Air bag sensor, cooling thermostat and hosing. Shocks headlight issues electrical. I have put two thermostat and changed hosing twice. There are sever recalls listed on the same make year and model and under my VIN there's no recalls yet I'm experiencing the same issues that were recalled on the same year make and model. This does not make since why isn't my car covered for the recalls. I took my car to Chrysler dealer and called cooperate and they said my car isn't covered but there's recalls with the same issues for the same year make and model.
Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200s. The contact stated that when the vehicle drives over any bumps, there is no support from the shocks( violent hit from the wheels) without warning. The vehicle was seen at a independent mechanic who diagnosed the vehicle and confirmed that the shocks and struts needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired however, the failure occurred multiple times. The dealer Chrysler of culpeper 11030 james monroe hwy, culpeper, va 22701 (540) 547-3900 was contacted and informed to the contact that 0 recalls was available. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure anc confirmed no recalls. The contact referenced campaign number:14v392000 (suspension) as a possible cause of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000. Ck.
I am experiencing rattling from my rear driver's side wheel that only occurs when there are bumps in the road. The brakes have been checked and there are no issues with the tires. However, I can feel every bump that I go over but only on the side where the back tire is on the driver's side.
My breaking is in effective. The ride of the car is not smooth. When taking it to get it serviced they told me my make and model is on recall for this exact problem I am having but my VIN number did not show up. I have not gotten it repaired as it is expensive and Chrysler should honor this problem. I believe my VIN number should fall in the recall guidelines.
I purchase my Chrysler 200 around 1/8/2019 today is 6/15/2019 and I am getting this clicking noise around the front end rather you turning or driving and its pulling to the right. I have taking my Chrysler 200 to atleasted (6) repair shops they all gave me different answers about what it going take to fix the problem. I am so confused and disappointed & feeling some kinda way about this Chrysler 200 right now. So dick norris Buick GMC in palm harbor, FL. ( I would never deal with them again) and to the (Chrysler corporation) get it right the first time this is America and I an a veteran.
The car shut completely off while in an intersection while attempting to make a right turn. The car shut off during a right turn. The car shut off while backing out of my garage. The car jerks as if a ghost is hitting it from behind in the middle of take off from a complete stop at a light or stop sign. It shakes everyone up in front and back seats and it happens randomly and spontaneously. This behavior has been happening for two years now and it wasn't not provoked by an accident. Thank you.
The rpm suddenly stops and it's takes few seconds to go down and speed suddenly increase.
Hvac controls blower motor keeps going out and resistor and acuator I have replaced it 3 times . Transmission shift hard violently hard shifts . And suspension is is unsafe whobble at at high speed mechanic cant find problem I've spent $2400 dollars replacing suspension parts and still cannot find the cause of the death whobble at highway speeds. I am located in new albany mississippi .
The car accelerates and if I hit a bump or anything in the road my car will start to sway back and forth and has actually spun me around in a 360 motion on more than one occasion. Sometimes you dont even have to go over a bump or anything it just shakes and sways. It does it on any roadway, any condition. Its a death trap. I have almost been in very bad accidents 3 times because I lost comtrol because of the swaying. Once was a near head on with and 18 wheeler. Chrysler need to do something about these cars.

I could be driving on dry or wet pavement and if there is any weight in the back end of the car it sways all over the road as if I'm losing control of the car. Any little bump will launch me almost into the other lane. I see a lot of people are having the same exact problem I am and I would like to know what Chrysler is going to do about the situation because someone loses a life over this car.
