Takata recall. The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler 300. After reversing out of the driveway and placing the vehicle into park, the gear shift failed to shift out of gear without warning. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. In addition, the contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 15v313000 (air bags) and 16v352000 (air bags); however, the parts were not available for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 130,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
