The indicator lights on the dash come on while driving, witch causes the head lights to go out. I think this is a very dangers thing to happen. Chrysler corporation should recall this model car and take care of the problem before I have an accident.
The contact owns 2006 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving 10 mph, all of the lights on the instrument panel, headlights and brake lights shut off without warning. The failure recurred on multiple occasions. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 150,000.
I was driving the car and the headlights shut off, dash lights went out and warning lights on the dash started lighting up and blinking on the dash. In addition, the gauges all dropped to zero and then returned after a few seconds. Everything returned to normal after a few seconds except the headlights. The headlights returned when switched to on instead of auto (it was dark outside). This all happened while the car was in motion at 60mph. After the car was parked and engine shut down, I restarted it and the headlights worked properly in the auto setting again. This problem replicated itself 2 weeks after the first incident. Again, headlights shut off while driving in the dark.
