Tl- the contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300. The contact stated the vehicle experienced a complete loss of power while being operated at various speeds. The check engine warning indicator illuminated. The failure was intermittant. Atlanta west Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram located 1251 thornton rd, lithia springs, GA were they replaced various compents. The vehicle was repaired however the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure the contat was informed to contact the NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 180000. Kh.
: the contact stated the horn is difficult to press. The vehicle was seen by a dealer. The dealer could not perform any repairs and determined this was a design issue. The dealer suggested the contact should find a more sensitive area of the horn to press. Updated 03/28/06.
Dead spots on steering wheel where horn is located. Have to find certain areas where the horn will work. Very very dangerous in quick situations. Have checked the web and many people have the same problem. Clearly a defect. You can push all you want, unless you get the right spot, nothing will happen.
