4 Alternator/generator/regulator problem

Failure Date: 04/11/2017

I am a Chrysler employee and have access to the changes/bulletins. Recall: p60/NHTSA 14v-634 had the 160amp in 3. 6l vehicles investigated in August of 2014 and submitted on 10/07/2014. The solution change was created on 09/12/2014 to perform a nik change for the faulty 160amp to solve the issue, this was done with 6322-04098-ccd for 2015 + future model years. The part number for the amp was 04801779ag and this change was making it 04801779ah. However, my 2014 Chrysler 300 that had the alternator go out on it 04/11/2017, had the pn 04801779ag. My complaint is that the cut off date on the recall was any buildout my 2011-2014 before December 23, 2013. I was informed my car was built out the following month. But if the part was never changed out of the plant and was never caught until after my vehicle was built, then why is my vehicle not apart of the recall? when the 160 amp failed, I was driving and it gave me little warning. I was unable to pull off to a safe location. I was blocking traffic due to this and had to pay for a tow truck. Recall number: p60/NHTSA 14v-634.
