Wiper Problems of Chrysler 300 - part 1

I noticed a few times when my vehicle is outside and it is raining that on the passenger side and near middle top of windshield by rear view mirror that water leaks in. Also when opening my sunglasses holder visor I seen water dripped from there. Also on passenger side on the ceiling roof front near the door frame it would be soak or moist from the recent downpour of rain. I notice on the outside window pane the rubber piece isnt in like the driver side.

Windshield wipers turn on and one swipe of the windshield when turn signal applied, this issue is distracting and dangerous when making a turn, when you don't expect them to come on.

This Chrysler 300 is equipped with side view mirrors which tilt down when vehicle is placed in reverse gear. It is suppose to tilt a few degrees so that you can see noting is under your rear tires such as a small child or o pet cat, dog,etc. However this vehicle s mirrors tild down so far the only view you have is the ground area directly under the drivers /passenger front door. You could see a child or pet or even to safely back the vehicle up. I have taken this to the dealership they tell me there is no fix for this condition is this something associated with just this car??? or, have other vehicles had this problem??.

My car will outright just stop for no reason. I will sit at a light and the rpm guage will start going out of control and the car will rev on its own. Then I will start driving and ti will be find until I go to press on the brakes. Then the whole car will cut out. I'm able to get it to turn over again after two or three efforts of turning the key and pumping the brake. It has once done it with my daughter in the car, which I am not okay with. Luckily, we were turning into a neighborhood and not onto the highway into high speed traffic. It turned off and on about 7 times down the road before it started running properly again. It seemed to happen every time I would hit the brakes or attempt to turn. The car cut out like it had run out of gas even though there was plenty in the tank. All the lights on the right side (traction, abs, etc) came on and then disappeared once it started running okay again. I had my fuel pump replaced twice thinking that was the issue and it was not. Something is wrong with this car and it needs to be recalled before someone gets hurt and it's to late to fix it.

Was driving down us highway 19 around 5:30pm 78� out and I heard this loud bang like a shotgun went off in my car. I thought someone hit me from the rear and glass was everywhere. Pulled over and to find out my panoramic sunroof exploded. The sunroof was not open. Took it to Dodge and they said that they can't do nothing that I have to go to threw my insurance company. Called Dodge direct and they said the same thing. Looked online and noticed a lot of these are having problems even jeeps Chrysler 300, Nissan,mercedes. Can't believe they would not fix it under warranty. Knowing this issue is getting bigger.

I was driving behind a truck #155. Usdot1605061. When a rock cracked my windshield. I was in the left lane on highway on my way to work. Toward daphne and spanish fort. Driver has been experiencing problems with backup camera since the car was purchased in 2016. Originally, the camera would just go in and out. A black screen would show up on the monitor once the car was put into reverse. This was mentioned to the dealership multiple times, but the camera would never act up when I was at the dealership. The driver was also told that an update would eventually solve the problem, which it did not. When the car is put into reverse now, the picture on the monitor from the back up camera is actually flipped on the monitor. So what is actually on the right side of the car, shows up on the left side. Recently when getting recalls for the vehicle taken care of, the driver found out that the back up camera was previously repaired in 2015. This was prior to the car being purchased in 2016. These problems were brought up to the dealership, telegraph Chrysler Jeep Dodge in taylor, mi. The back up camera was brought up to the dealership when the car was under extended warranty, now it is possible that the warranty has expired. This is a safety concern as the perception in the back up camera could deceive the driver.

Windshield wipers started coming on while using the turn signal at night while driving home. The very next morning started the car and the windshield wipers would not turn off. Had to pull the fuse to stop.

The car just started like in the video I sent, was going to pick up my daughter's from school was not able to cus it didn't wanna work right so got the alternator repaired, and took it to autozone and got the battery and alternator tested both passed so they were good and it did not resolve the issue bought a refurbished pcm and also did not resolve. My problem so I was told that it's the tipm car has been parked since it started.

While driving the vehicle at night the headlights will flash off and on, the dash board lights go off and on, the windshield wipers come on and the radio will go off. In the day time while driving the same things happen except the headlights going off and on. This happens on the street and the highway while in motion. This has happened several times and after a while it stops.

Windshield seams unhinged, the interior panels buckled and unhinged obstructing airbags, and wiper dispenser malfunctions causing poor visibility while driving. I’ve experienced every disappointment and near dangers of uconnect to having the system replaced with the same brand to no avail. I have date stamped pictures depicting the unsafe issues. I even went back to the dealership of purchase to get answers. They confirmed having knowledge of all issues I mentioned but they have done nothing to repair, replace, or provide suggestions.

While driving down highway the sunroof imploded, glass everywhere, no other vehicle around. Chrysler is refusing to fix . Vehicle has 22,000 miles with a 3 year 30,000 mile warranty.

The sunroof is leaking and water has ran into the radio causing the touchscreen to start going crazy and can not operate a lot of the functions it does. It ended up turning on defrost and fogging up the windshield and I ran into oncoming traffic. I have brought this to my dealer on multiple occasions and they will not repair said the car is out of warranty. It will also call people on the phone and trying to hang up have taken my eyes off the road and have had several close calls with it doing this.

Tl the contact owns a 2005 Chrysler 300. My 2012 Chrysler 300 3. 6l v6 went in battery save mode as I was driving then shut off. It would not start so I boost it off and was able to get it started. I drove a circle around the apartment complex and the car begin to smoke. The 180amp alternator was smoking and burning up. I changed the alternator and replaced the battery. Now the car cranks and stay running but will not drive. No dash lights are working and I can not put it into gear. If I turn the wheel to the right or left completely then the a/c and dash lights n radio work but the car still will not go into my desired gear. I have lost a lot of time and money because of this issue and nowhere online is there answers for this problem.

45000 miles the dashboard cluster all of dash goes total out no speed no tachometer, no gas, all temp gauges and traction control go out. The radio and the rest of the console go black as well. Car will not turn on also you can not use alarm system to enter vehicle. Dome light does come on. Tried to jump start doesnt effect car as its not the battery its some other computer issue. As tow truck hauled car the car came back to life from the jolt of road bumps. Dealership states can't find anything wrong with car. Viewed several cars with similar symptoms. I have video of so far 2 occurrences . This has happened while driving and also while parked so its random.

On February 10,2017 the car would not start. I got a charge and drove it home. The next morning the car started. After driving for a while I realized my turn signals didn't work. It began raining and I realized the wipers didn't work. After checking further I found my horn didn't work either.

For the last few years the interior windows fog up real bad when it gets below 32 degrees. It is getting worse and very dangerous because I can't see out of the windows after driving a very short distance. The dealer has changed the blend door actuator and the heater core but this has not made any difference . They have told me now that they have no idea what to do because they can't find anything wrong with the car. I have a life time warranty on the car and I need to have this fixed because of safety reasons. I have checked on the internet and other people have this same problem so it is not just my vehicle. The windows clear up after the vehicle stops for a while. This only happens when the vehicle is in motion. I have tried all different hearter / defroster settings and nothing works. I have contacted Chrysler and they have been no help. They set up and appointment at the dealer for me but they offered no help at all. I called them back and they said that they would have someone contact me but that never happened.

I press the start button my car and it came up service transmission, please put vehicle in park, my windshield wipers activated on their own (when they were in the off position), my heater continuously blew hot and I was unable to turn it off. I had to crawl through the backseat of my vehicle to open the trunk and disconnect it from the battery to cut the vehicle off. It also blind spot deter failed. A few months ago this happen while I was driving and the vehicle wouldn't go in park, with the same issues and they replaced my battery as well as my alternator but they said it was not in recall status. My car idled and attempted to go by itself and I was unable to control the vehicle.
