1 Ignition problem of the 2008 Chrysler 300C

The contact owns a 2008 Chrysler 300c. The contact stated that while driving at an unknown speed, the vehicle lost motive power without warning. The vehicle failed to restart and was towed to the residence. The contact stated that an independent mechanic was unable to determine the cause of the failure; however, the mechanic stated that the failure could be related to the ignition switch. The contact stated that the vehicle was able to start intermittently; however, the contact stopped driving the vehicle due to a fear that the failure might recur while driving with his family. The contract stated that the vehicle was serviced under NHTSA campaign number: 14v567000 (electrical system) in 2020. The dealer was contacted and stated that he had to pay for a diagnostic test and repair since the vehicle was previously repaired under the recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 186,145.
