8 Car Stall problem of the 1999 Chrysler 300M

Failure Date: 10/28/2008

1999 Chrysler 300m - have had the car since 2002. About a year ago we noticed it would stall during operation then immediately restart. Now it has gotten worse. It just stops while at highway speeds, during city driving or even at a light. Usually re-starts right away but lately it takes about 10 minutes before re-start is possible. Took to Dodge dealer and they cannot find the problem. I won't allow my wife to drive the car as it is too dangerous. Any feedback on what the problem is would be greatly appreciated.

9 Car Stall problem of the 2000 Chrysler 300M

Failure Date: 03/20/2008

Hello. I have a 2000 Chrysler 300m and it has not been reliable enough for me to drive for about a year now. It will periodically decrease in speed and just stall. I have taken it to about five shops including the Chrysler dealership, and noone knows what the problem is. I researced online to see if I was the only one having this probelm with my car, but there are hundreds of others with the same vehicle, and same problems. They have also taken their vehicle to many shops including the dealer, and noone knows what the problem is. I wanted to contact you first to see if there is anything you can do to help me. I contacted Chrysler via e-mail about a month ago and I am still yet to hear anything back from them. I have put so much money into this car for shops to try to fix the problem, and I even had to pay diagnostic fees to a Chrysler dealership, and others when they have not been able to diagnose it. This is absolutely ridiculous, I feel this car should have been a re-call, with as many people having the same exact problem, that we call the "enginestall". Please contact me back as soon as possible. Thank you for your time!.

10 Car Stall problem of the 2004 Chrysler 300M

Failure Date: 09/15/2007

Just driving down the road and my car stalled then lurched forward while I was in an intersection almost causing an accident. The repair shop stated a sensor had to be reprogrammed due to problems with the flywheel. I was told this problem will happen again as the flywheel in my vehicle is known to cause this problem. Something about flexing and cracking. It is my belief that this is a manufactures defect.
