Tire Sidewall Problems of Chrysler 300M

I bought a set of yokohama tires for my 1999 Chrysler 300m in July 2006. We have several problems with these tires not holding air. Finally, now, the right front tire blew 2 half dollar size holes in the sidewall of the tire for no apparent reason. We were able to keep the vehicle on the road as to not cause further damage. We have taken the vehicle to tires plus for the previous problems as well as this blowout. We will obviously be replacing all four tires and will not be buying this brand again.

On 04/26/06, while at a sams club store, I noticed a large bulge in the sidewall of one of the two goodyear eagle LS 225/55r17bw tires that I purchased from walmart and had installed by walmart on 03/28/06. The tire was determined by a tire associate at the sams club store to be unsafe to drive on, so he removed the wheel and replaced it with the spare. I am taking the tire back to walmart on 04/27/06 to get a credit to be applied toward the purchase of a replacement tire.

The left front tire of this vehicle failed on the date indicated. Less than 4 hours later, the right front tire of the same vehicle failed. The failure appears to be a sidewall defect. There are no apparent punctures. The tires exhibit a tear, from inside out, in the sidewall. Unsubstantiated runmor from a tire installer is that he "sees this probelm on this tire all of the time". The consumer stated that all 4 tires cracked along the sidewall. The total usage of the vehicle was less than 33,000. The consumer stated that while driving the tires lost pressure which resulted in a blowout.
