Nhtsa recall 04v021000 on the floor shift ignition park interlock. After having a new load-limiting push rod into the floor shifter lever installed, the check engine light appeared on the dashboard. Consumer was also having problem shifting gears. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer for inspection. The mechanic could not duplicate the problem please provide further details.
