Two problems related to engine cooling system have been reported for the 1998 Chrysler Concorde. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
: the contact stated while at an intersection, the temperature gauge elevated to the red area, and smoke came out from under the hood. The vehicle was towed to an independent repair shop where it was determined the bleeder valve ab connector had melted. After this was replaced it was determined the engine needed to be replaced as a result of the failure. The manufacturer was alerted.
My engine has been burning oil and I have to ad at least a ouart of oil or more each month 2. 7l engine all I have heard about these engines is bad they all blow up and also the cooling system were the bleeder is blew off and the guy at the auto junk yard says all the engines the get in have this replaced or already blowen off and their is a waiting list for these engines do to a large number of them blowing up.
