1 Engine Stall problem of the 2004 Chrysler Crossfire

Failure Date: 01/22/2016

I was driving 70 mph on i81 when my 2010 Chrysler Crossfire simply stopped running. I was beside a truck with one in front and 3 behind. Barely made it to the side of the road and caused a lot of breaking and honking. The 5th time this has happened, and was extremely dangerous. . . . The Crossfire does not start after the engine stalls and the steering wheel locks up. I'm amazed that I made it out alive each time. Have spent $1800 trying to have it fixed but the Chrysler dealership doesn't know what the problem is. This is ridiculous.

2 Engine Stall problem of the 2004 Chrysler Crossfire

Failure Date: 07/05/2014

After driving 30 miles without problems engine stalls. Attempts to start it failed but when key is in on position not start position starter engages. Attempted several times and each time key turned on starter engaged even without clutch depressed which is normally required, even in gear with clutch released starter engaged. Have yet to get engine started tho condition continues. Towed car home to my shop where im investigating this issue.

3 Engine Stall problem of the 2005 Chrysler Crossfire

Failure Date: 03/29/2013

I have 2005 Crossfire that has been stalling intermittently. When it stalls, it usually starts right up, but a few times it has stalled and when I try to restart it the engine does not try to turn over. The lights stay on so there's power, but when I turn the key. . . Nothing! it usually starts up after a few minutes this makes me very nervous that someone will crash into me! now this has happen on the highway. This is a serious safety issue! is Chrysler obligated to recall this issue? here are similar complaints: (1) I have 2005 Crossfire roadster that has been stalling intermittently. When it stalls, it usually starts right up, but a few times it has stalled and when I try to restart it the engine does not try to turn over. The lights stay on so there's power, but when I turn the key. . . Nothing! it usually starts up after a few minutes but it's a pain in the neck when you're sitting in traffic! I replaced the crankshaft position sensor so that's not it. Any suggestions? has anyone had similar problems? (2) I just bought an automatic '05 Crossfire roadster and I have experienced multiple times now that, when getting to a stop, the engine will stall. It even died three times already. It is not repetitive and difficult to reproduce. No errors or engine check light show up and the dealer cannot reproduce either. Is anybody experiencing this same issue? where you able to solve it? please help thank you in advance for your help.
