Purchased this vehicle in April of this year, from a Chrysler dealer. It came with a plastic window, which I found out, is not factory/standard. The dealer refused to take care of it. Found out about the x31 and sb-23035-11reva bulletin, contacted Chrysler about it, got turned down because we are the 4th owners of the car, and it was 3,000 over the 100k mile limit. I wrote sergio marchionne, the ceo of Chrysler, got a review, but was turned down again. Told that it "would not make good business sense" to fix my car! what!!? the problem is widespread, and since Chrysler has owned up, they should continue to be a good manufacturer, and take care of their customers, original or not. The condition is dangerous.

The back window has separated from the convertible top and has fallen out due to faulty glue. I have done a lot of research showing that hundreds of owners are having this same problem. Chrysler is unwilling to help any of us. They need to be forced to issue a recall and repair these problems because of their faulty manufacturing.
Rear window is delaminating. This has apparently happened to thousands of cars. Is there no recall?.
The contact owns 2006 Chrysler Crossfire. The contact stated that the rear window on the convertible top would fall inside the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the top of the vehicle needed to be replaced. The failure mileage was 34,300.
Back window fell out of 2005 Chrysler Crossfire convertible. Dealer offers no fix. Poor craftsmanship. Based on web forums, it is common and Chrysler does nothing to support their loyal customers who have bot these cars. Windows should not fall out of cars. . . 42k miles.
Rear window fell off of convertible top while driving. Chrysler says that while this has happened to this model in the past they donot cover this in the warranty. There needs to be a recall for this problem!.
2005 Crossfire back window fell out of it while driving, creating a very scary and dangerous moment. The car has 8,200 miles on it. After taking it directly to the dealership, they said its a fault in the adhesive and Chrysler will not replace it.
I have a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire that I purchased 1 year ago and the rear window has came apart from the convertable top fabric. The tops are on backorder at Chrysler and I have only found one shop in California that has a replacement, but I have to have the full top frame removed and shipped to them for replacement. The top alone is 3k. In the interim my expensive car sits in the garage collecting dust. Truely not acceptable.
Chrysler Crossfire convertible, all years. Rear window detaches from the convertible top. This is not a sudden incident, but one where the detachment is gradual. The safety aspect of this problem relates to when finally detaching completely and falling inside the vehicle, the driver distraction could easily cause a vehicle accident. If falling outside the vehicle, resulting avoidance manuvers by drivers of following vehicles could lead to vehicle accidents. My local Chrysler dealer has refused to correct the problem on my fast-detaching rear window, and has instead directed me to a corvette repair facility where the repair would be accomplished at my expense. The rear window problem has been well documented on a Chrysler Crossfire internet forum where members describe various home fixes attempted, none with permanent results. Chrysler so far has not issued a recall for this safety problem.
Back window came unglued without any cause, car was parked in driveway.
The back window of my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire came loose from the top of the car. It was only held together by a line of glue, nothing else held it in place. The dealership only gave me referrals to where I could replace whole top.
The rear window is falling out of my 2005 Crossfire roadster convertible. It is a glued in window and the glue has failed. We were told today by Chrysler that it was not warrantied and could not be repaired. The only solution they offer is to buy a new top for over $2100. This appears to be a common problem. Not only is it unreasonably expensive to remedy, it is also a safety issue. The top could easily fly out, injuring a passenger or someone in another vehicle. Chrysler should offer a reasonable solution to take care of this as it is obviously a design defect and their responsibility.
Rear window fell out of 2006 Chrysler convertible. Chrysler says it is not covered by warranty. By searching a solution to repair found several other owners whom this has happened to.
The rear window of my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire has come unglued. The car has been garage kept and has about 10,000 miles. I purchased an extended warranty however, I am told that it is not covered. This is a manufacturer fault. I am told that this is a common problem and the only repair advise given was to have the top sent back to Chrysler at my expense to have the reglue. I was quoted in the thousands to have this done. What makes them think doing the same process again will now work?.
The back window of my 2005 Crossfire has come unglued from the convertible top. It was a safety issue because it could have come off while driving and hurt either passengers or someone driving beside me.
Plastic lens covers on head lights has faded to a point where light performance has degraded.
2004 Chrysler Crossfire has a radio screen that cannot be adjusted for brightness in any light. It is no visibly in daylight and a true road hazard while driving at high speeds. No response to many owners from Chrysler-see page Chrysler Crossfire forum for much more info. These radios need to be fixed or changed ASAP.
