The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire. While driving approximately 50 mph on normal road conditions, the vehicle hesitated when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The rpm's revved and then decreased, followed by the engine stalling. The warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel prior to the stalling. The vehicle failed to restart after several attempts. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer eight times for diagnostic testing, but they were unable to duplicate the failure. The wiring was adjusted within the computerized system. The manufacturer was notified of the failures, but there were no resolutions. The vehicle is currently inoperable and has not been repaired. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 58,556 and current mileage was 69,650.

2 Wiring problem of the 2005 Chrysler Crossfire

Failure Date: 07/14/2005

The convertible top would not open, the rear spoiler would not operate and the keyless entry would not open to let me in the car. After attempting to replace 3 different parts over 4 visits they determined there was a pinched wire and replaced it, fixing all the problems at once.
