1 Engine Exhaust System problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2021

I have had two Pacificas 2004 and 2005 both did the exact same thing. Started with an odor of exhaust or fumes of some sort in the same week. It lost power, overheated, had to pulled home. Would start if cold for short period of time. In less than the same week. Went to have someone work on it and the battery was dead where I had tried to start it to many times/ my fault. However as soon as it got connection the key wasnt even in the switch and the motor was rolling over. That one sat at that time. Found 05 within a week or two and figured one for parts if break down. Nothing at all wrong starting out. Only drove the 05 apprx 3months and started the exact same thing from odor to overheating and I do not know alot about vehicles but seems to have jumped time. However I am a single woman and do not carry a license mechanic and im now stranded with no vehicle to get around while I have two Pacificas seem same issues just drove one a little longer. I may be rough on thing but exact problems seems to be a malfunction on ur part. . . . . . . . VIN to other one2c8gf68414r644267. . . And I do not have invoices because I cant afford to get them fixed. I have my titles and sale prices and only few months of owning. So I just expect to at least see if its Chryslers problem.

2 Engine Exhaust System problem

Failure Date: 01/15/2011

We purchased a used 2005 Pacifica in 2009. It has gone through 3 catalytic converters, 6 oxygen sensors and the dealership says it needs to be done again. The gas pedal sticks requiring one to stomp on it to get it to go down sometimes. Big safety concern. It has lost it's power steering and acted like it was going to die on four occassions when turning shortly after being started. We owe twice what this car is worth and have no idea what we are going to do. It goes through oil like mad too. The dealership says that's normal. A quart every other week is not normal. The tailpipe is black. The dealership says they don't know what to do unless they continue replacing the 1000 dollar parts. There has been no word from Chrysler so far. I spoke to a friend of the family who teaches car repair and he said there is obviously a serious engine problem.

3 Engine Exhaust System problem

Failure Date: 09/11/2009

Own a 2005 Pacifica. . It has 75000 miles on it. It has 4 bad engine mounts. Dealer states "they see alot for this particular model and it is normal. " I do not think it is normal that mounts that hold up the engine could fail.
