1 Other Fuel System Fuel Gauge problem

Failure Date: 08/04/2014

My 2006 Chrysler Pacifica keeps sending a message saying gas pump, and then my fuel gauge keeps dropping to e even after I just filled it up. I have replaced the gas cap and I am still getting the message saying something is wrong with the gas cap, and the gauge keeps dropping. I can not tell how much gas I ever have and have to constantly stop after a few days to fill it back up. I took it to oriellys to let them run the code on the vehicle and it said that it was the gas cap, so I replaced the gas cap and they reset the sensor and its still saying the same thing.
