1 Ignition problem

The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while driving 40 mph, the driver tapped the key chain that was attached to the ignition key and as a result, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The failure and current mileage was 56,000.

2 Ignition problem

Failure Date: 01/20/2010

The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica. While driving approximately 40 mph, she noticed a popping noise and the electrical system began to malfunction. The interior lights were flashing along with dashboard lights and heating system was inoperable. She was able to drive safely onto the emergency lane; however, the noise continued even after she turned the ignition off and restarted the vehicle. She was able to drive the vehicle to her residence. She has not taken the vehicle to the dealer or spoken with the manufacturer to-date. The vehicle has not been repaired.
