Failure Date: 01/06/2001

After stopping at a gas station and getting out of vehicle, it suddenly lurched backward throwing the consumer to the ground, causing serious injuries to her left leg as it came into contact with the drivers side door, vehicle also collided with the cement buffer at the end of the fuel island and the rear bumper of a parked vehicle, attorney states this incident is identical to the failure of the Jeep grand cherokee. 2 Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problem

Failure Date: 08/09/2000

While parked with ignition off,vehicle slipped into reverse gear, rolling back on a slight incline, and striking another vehicle. Dealer has been contacted. Ref ie03013.

3 Automatic Transmission Park/neutral Start Switch problem

There is a malfunction within the ignition key and the gear shift is able to remove key from ignition and change gears. Ref ie03013.
