When I start the car there is a loud knocking noise in the glove compartment area. Thus went on randomly when start or park the car. Now the airbag light stays on while the car is on. The noise would last a couple minutes at a time.

This is the third time I've bad problems with the air bag light coming on I've spent money three times for repairs because of the airbag light coming on I just spent money for the third time for repairs in may 2015 and six months later I'm having the same problem I just paid to be repaired there has to be an defect in the airbag . And I keep reporting and not getting any help no matter how many times I file an complaint. While driving on a highway at high-speed, all the electrical instruments began flashing on/off. The airbag light began flashing and a chime could be heard. This occurs intermittently (3-5 times per year) and Chrysler cannot properly diagnose the problem. With this latest incident, the dealership told me it would cost $800 for a new power control module. I researched online only to learn there are thousands of people with identical complaints about their Chrysler vehicles, while NHTSA refuses to order a recall. I refuse to allow Chrysler to perform work on this vehicle unless they can guarantee the repair and cap the cost. I purchased this vehicle new and Chrysler failed to disclose two auto body repairs performed prior to sale - I discovered this on the Chrysler website and since spent over $1,500 to repair it because Chrysler refused to accept any responsibility after the lemon laws expired.

My airbag light came on and the dealer wants $550 to fix it. I think it is a safety issue and should not be so expensive to fix. I am now driving with no airbag due to a bad clockspring in the stteering wheel. On my 1996 it was a recall and the dealer had to fix it for free, why don't they do it on this newer model. The cost is way too high for the part and amount of time it would take them to replace it.
Front driver seat started feeling loose, airbag light came on, low tire light came on and check oil light would come on every time car is started. A few days later the car didn't feel right and started making a loud knocking noise, took it to the mechanic and found out that tensioner belt became loose causing damage to the car. I had to get a new alternator, tensioner & pull, and transmission flushed/serviced as well as the power steering. Not very happy with this 2008 Sebring!!!!!.

On one occasion while travelling through the mountains of western pennsylvania on the turnpike at night in the rain the entire car went dark for about 10 seconds.
