Both driver side and passenger side airbags are in a "fail/safe" position. The code that was given is b1b02, driver airbag squib circuit open.

2 Side/window Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 01/19/2009

I had a severe side impact on my 2008 Chrysler Sebring when another vehicle ran a stop sign and broadsided me. I have side airbags, the curtain airbags and the ones in the seat. Not one airbag deployed. Chrysler is saying the impact was not sufficient to deploy the bags. I don't accept that. The damage to my car was $8,500. 00 and had to replace both front and rear doors and the entire side frame. The air bags should have deployed.
