2 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2010 Chrysler Sebring

Failure Date: 06/30/2013

The air conditioner freeze plug, rubber part melted and blew out from the engine. I have saved it. . I was told by a mechanic that the type of plug with rubber could cause continuous blowout and that should not happen based on the 18,428 miles that was on the car which was purchased new on 12/24/2011 with 63 miles on the odometer at the time. Fortunately, the car basic warranty is still valid to help with the repair cost after towing it to a Chrysler dealership that is an authorized warranty repair shop. Note: I left the car for repair on tues, July 2, 2013 but as of today Monday, July 8th, 2013, I have not been able to get a diagnosis from the dealership repair shop. I have called on several occassions but was told that their mechanic shop is shortstaff and I have to wait until they can get to check the car when there are enough mechanics to attend to all of the pending repairs on the cars that are waiting for service at this time.

3 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2010 Chrysler Sebring

Failure Date: 06/30/2013

Further to my last email dated 7/8/2012 which was assigned odi number 10523670. I wish to advise that as of this date, I have not been able to be told what the mechanic diagnosis is?, even though I have made repeated follow-up calls as suggested by various service personnel, 1. Bruce warren, 2. Jose and 3. George at soutars Dodge dealership, 631 west main st, barstow, CA 92311, ph 760-256-3502. They all promised to get back to me but never did. My last call on tues, 07/09/2013 in the afternoon, I spoke with mr bruce warren who first attended to me on tues 7/2/2013 when the car was towed in from baker, CA and left for warranty repair, etc, he told me that the mechanic tried 4 freeze plugs which did not work and they are waiting on a fifth one which will hopefully will work. Note: the first mechanic in baker, CA who checked the car there ,told me that he ordered, received and tried a freeze plug using all of the details pertaining to the manufacture specifications but that did not work because it was too small. Mr bruce warren at the dealership service also told me on thue 07/09/2013, that the last 4 freeze plugs that they ordered and tried using were too small. How and why this is happening, I am finding it hard to understand?.

5 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2002 Chrysler Sebring

Failure Date: 08/07/2010

I have always had issues with the ball joint on the control arm assembly can fail causing the ball stud to wear through the control arm housing resulting in noise and/or separation of the ball stud from the housing. Consequence: the federal-mogul has never notified me as owners and replace the affected control arms free of charge. It was often paid out of my pocket ever time I had issues and the sad thing about it, I always took my car to the actual dealership to have fixed and not once had they mentioned this was an issue with Chrysler Sebring and listed as a recall which should have been covered free of charge.

6 Adaptive Equipment problem of the 2002 Chrysler Sebring

Failure Date: 05/10/2010

On may 17,2010 while driving to college, I noticed a loud whining rough sound, and every time I hit a bump it would sound like something was loose coming from my tires. Before, I could stop to see what the problem was, my steering wheel locked and my car ran off the road when I attempted to regain control my Sebring over corrected and entered a counterclockwise spin. I crossed 5 busy lanes before striking a ditch. My car stopped opposite direction of oncoming traffic!!! July of 2013 I had my lower control arms, and ball joints replaced. And again in February 14,2014 I had to take my car to the shop again for lower ball joint disconnect and replace lower control arms. And again this year February 24, 2015 for the exact same thing; replacement of lower control arms and lower ball joint. This car is very hazard I was blessed there were no injuries in 2010 when I had my accident! every time; I drive this car I am so frantic of knowing around the time I am going to hear that sound of something rattling and sounding like loose bolts coming from the tire. My 15 year old daughter this year, made the remark;" mama I hear that rattling sound again!" please someone, somewhere; do something about the costly repairs on the Chrysler Sebring 2002 cars. The economy is not cheap to live in, especially when you are fixing the same repairs year after year on the only vehicle you have. And yes, I do have all receipts on repairs and accident report. Thank you very much for your time and consideration of helping.
