The car would not let me shift to any gear, it was still running. This was caused my the failure of a disc modular (electrical device) part number spd 05062200aa. It does not make since that this electrical part failure would make the car inoperative. This is not safe. This could have happen driving at a higher speed. I was in town on rt. 7 in slower traffic when it happened. I could see the check engine light coming on with the failure of this part, but not the car being totally inoperative the car had less than 3,500 miles of use when this happened.
