Two problems related to automatic transmission column shift have been reported for the 1996 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Repeated automatic transaxle failure. A well documented problem with the Chrysler Mini-vans.
The pin that is attached to the retainer clip slipped and scarred the aluminum, causing a leak in the tranfer case which may cause a fire and engine problems. Please provide further information.
