Two problems related to brake drum shoes/linings have been reported for the 1996 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Rear brake shoes had worn out prematurely. The brake pedal is always soft after shoes are replaced. Every 10-15,000 miles the brake shoes has to be replaced by the dealer.
Brake lining failed.
