While driving the fuel tank seams and fuel line cracked resulting in the fuel leaking, the dealer was notified.

Mechanic found fuel leaking. Checked hood and engine was flooded with fuel.

Problem occurs intermittently, especially when cool then stops leaking when engine is warm. When it does leak it leaks gas from the fuel line that [goes to the injecters] right onto the top of the front exhaust manifold which I think is a very serious potential fire danger!.

Fule rail began leaking dumping large quantities of gasoline onto the valve cover and would have contacted hot exhaust manifold if leak was not detected. Noticed strong gasoline smell. This was a high potential for engine fire and house fire if car had been parked in attached garage as normal. Just luck that it was discovered.

5 Fuel Delivery problem

Vehicle parked in garage overnight. Garage was filled with gasoline fumes. Checked under hood and gas was leaking from the fuel rail. Engine block was soaked with gas. Had heard of chryler fuel rail problems but dealer says none pertain to my vehicle.

7 Fuel Delivery problem

Failure Date: 06/04/1999

The fuel rail was leaking and presented a clear fire danger if not replaced immediately. It was replaced by a local service garage. Chrylser was contacted on 8/5/99 with a request to bear the cost in view of the failure of the fuel rail on other Chrysler models but refused to do so.

8 Fuel Delivery problem

Seal around fuel pump failed causing fuel to leak.

9 Fuel Delivery problem

Failure Date: 11/16/1995

Fuel leak, coming from the rear of vehicle while backing out of driveway. Tt.

10 Fuel Delivery problem

Fuel line is leaking, resulting low fuel level after pumping. Dealer has been notified.

11 Fuel Delivery problem

Fuel was leaking from fuel line. After inspection of vehicle it was determined that fuel rail needed to be replaced.
